The world bears the scars of certainty.
What will your convictions leave behind?
Minor Heresy Publishing creates system-agnostic fantasy settings for tabletop roleplaying games—worlds where characters can do exactly what they believe is right and still leave their players asking whether they were the heroes, the villains, or something that refuses either name.

Why Minor Heresy
We do not tell your table what to believe.
We believe fantasy becomes more interesting when its gods disagree, its histories cannot be trusted, and power never arrives without a cost. Our books do not mark the villains or decide which cause deserves to win.
Instead, we build the cultures, religions, politics, conflicts, and competing accounts that make a world feel inhabited. Game masters and players decide what those truths mean when they reach the table.
The result is setting material that can be carried into any roleplaying system without bringing someone else's rules along with it.

Dan McCawley
& Darrin Baker
Minor Heresy Publishing was founded in West Virginia by Dan McCawley and Darrin Baker, longtime collaborators and the co-creators of the World of Cor.
Together, they write and design fantasy books built for readers, game masters, and players who want more than familiar kingdoms and predetermined heroes. Their first release, Of Gods and Magic, begins with the beliefs and powers that have shaped Cor—and the people forced to live with their consequences.
